This new L24 step light from MP Lighting excels in both physique and performance. The luminaire has a clean look with no visible fasteners and a thin profile (3/4”, 20 mm) that passed the ADA standards for lighting fixtures. Not only creating a soft and even light distribution, but it is also available in the same color temperature & CRI range with other MP Lighting luminaires (2200K – 4100K, 90+ CRI), and additional options of LEDs in different colors (Red, Green, Blue & Amber), which allows more space for designers to match with the ambient lighting or achieve the creative design purposes.

L227 Display case & Desk Spotlight

Built upon our top-performing L225 spotlight heads on the C21 rotatable screwless canopies, MP Lighting has worked on and introduced a spin-off, L227, to extend the range of applications to inside display cases and over the countertop.

90º swivel range of spotlight heads, 360º rotation range of stems, and custom stem length option allow for applications in different display case dimensions and object arrangements.

Perfect to be used inside display cases in museums and retail stores, or on desks in business and formal venues such as conference centers, hotel concierge counters and VIP lounge reception desks.

L580 Commercial Carpet Luminaire

L580 is introduced in April/2020 for projects that require uplighting from floors with commercial-grade carpets.

Commercial-grade carpets are typically shorter in pile thickness and higher in density rating than residential ones for better durability and maintenance.With 7/16” thickness and 5/16” cavity, this luminaire can accommodate and be flush-mounted in most carpets specified in commercial applications.

The fixture body is designed with a cavity room and a wider trim extending to cover the carpet cut-out edges, which not only protects the edges from being frayed but also eliminates tripping hazards. It has also been tested to avoid overheating issues that might result in fire hazards in this type of application. On top of that, the installation is as simple as cutting the holes on carpets and screwing 2 parts of the fixture together.

This luminaire is a great solution for in-ground applications in carpeted areas, such as those in conference centers, hotels and other commercial that needs an uplight.

Architectural Finishes

Since an introduction of White Oak architectural finish on selected luminaires 2019, MP Lighting has extended the options to include concrete finish and textures of more wood species such and Teak, Walnut and Maple. This option is now available in different product categories including downlights, bollards, pendants and linear.

The finishes are thoroughly engineered and applied to not only replicate the look and texture of these wood species but also allow minimal maintenance and replacement effort.

This approach helps to achieve the design purpose of matching the luminaires with the space design without raising the concerns of safety codes regarding fire and weight hazards. These finishes have been designed and tested to have excellent resistance to the amount of heat, moisture, cold impact, abrasion, fire, and UV light that a luminaire is commonly subject to.

Power over Ethernet (PoE) control option for all MP Lighting luminaires

MP Lighting is pleased to announce all MP Lighting luminaires are now ready to be integrated into lighting projects that adopt Power over Ethernet (PoE)technology.

Internet of Things (IoT) has recently emerged as a solution for the rising need to achieve the balance between energy efficiency and wellness of the space occupants:improving employee productivity in office settings and protecting patient well-being at healthcare facilities to name a few.

On top of financial savings and sustainable energy use, pairing it with high-quality luminaires from MP Lighting enables your projects to stay relevant when it comes to human-centric discussion topics such as circadian lighting, full-spectrum lighting, lighting for seniors, and WELL standard.

As of now, testing has been carried out with system hardware and software from TP-Link (power switch), NuLEDs, and Molex Transcend (power supplies and wall controllers). Soon, we are looking to do more testing with PoE components from other major manufacturers to provide project designers with the freedom of choice.

L183 Double-sided – New version of LED-integrated wine rack

For the 2020 version, MP Lighting adds new bronze finish to the current L182 model and an enhanced rail design L183 for higher floor-to-ceiling installations, higher capacity or for specific project requirements. Perfect for restaurants, bars, wineries, and private residences.

MP brings the expertise from building specification-grade luminaires into the design of wine racks. Not only it allows customers to have endless possibilities from specifying LEDs (beam angles to have the light focus properly on wine labels, colour temperature to fit the ambience) to the configurations of back rails and bottle holders, customers also get the electrical portion organized – the product comes with pre-installed wirings and tested drivers ready for installation. The entire process from concepts to assembly is streamlined to significantly save time on sourcing, installation and maintenance.

In addition, people that value their wine collections will greatly appreciate the fact that the system is designed with wine quality in mind. The high-quality LEDs with clever design enable the system to have zero UV and heat emission, which ensures there is no impact on wine quality resulting from using the product and reduce the need for additional general lighting that often creates extra heat in smaller cabinets.

L114 is the new member of MP linear luminaires introduced in November 2019.

Like other MP luminaires, L114 has a solid construction and wide application range. Different canopy options are available for installation on desks, walls and ceilings. C (Corner) and T (straight) joiners are designed to help create a system for wall or desk corners. With this versatility, a project can achieve consistency across different areas such as applications on desks in the reading rooms, on ceilings in meeting rooms and on walls to light up pictures in the exhibition and hallway areas. C23 was also a newly introduced canopy model to offer solutions to projects that look for a visually screwless system

In addition to a sleek and solid physical design, L114 offers a wide range of specifications to achieve various high-quality lighting effects. The prismatic diffuser option is a new offering that provides better visual comfort and achieves a wider illuminated area by dispersing light source through prism-like triangular patterns.

This product is among a few that can achieve this versatility allowing simultaneous specifications on the optic lens, diffusers, high-quality LEDs, stem length, canopy styles and mounting options.

2W/ft and 6W/ft version are perfect for small-to-medium display cases in retail stores and museums. 10W/ft with wide beam angle is designed for ceiling mount providing general lighting, or floor-to-ceiling glass display

Good for both interior and exterior lighting.

Windowsill light L159

Starting from a compact luminaire L150 that gives a soft glow to the windowsill, MP Lighting has extended the product line to accommodate a growing number of design requirements.Earlier this year (2020), MP Lighting released a new design with an optical lens that focuses the light output and sharpens the beam being shot to the windowsills for a clean and higher-contrast lighting application. This new generation reserved the compactness of the design and the bracket design that have previously allowed designers to use the same product throughout the whole windowsill lighting portion of their projects.

Tiltable bracket is also introduced to allow usage on tilted windowsills that can be found in many projects due to design or drainage purposes and might not be consistent across different industries and even within the same project.
