Lumenwerx is happy to announce the addition of surface mounting, as well as new modules and accessories, to its Pivot magnetic track lighting system. These features further cement Pivot’s position in the market as an innovative, space-defining, well-balanced, and versatile lighting solution for a wide variety of applications.
In addition to existing pendant and recessed solutions, Pivot is now available as a surface mounted track lighting system, a practical, minimally invasive option perfect for applications with ceiling or plenum limitations, among others, or for where it is impossible to integrate pendant or recessed mounted systems.
Pivot’s new pendant modules are adapted versions of already existing Lumenwerx fixtures: Shell Round, Shell Square, Forma Caret, Forma Tote, and Forma Cupola. Each is equipped with the same features as their non-Pivot counterparts have, but with the benefit of a track mounting system.
Pivot’s new pendant modules:
2 sizes: 8″ and 12″
Also new to the Pivot offering are the Pivot Standalones, individual mounting systems for the Pivot Dot, Box, and Cylinder modules. They can be used as solo lighting fixtures, or complement or supplement Pivot track systems on a larger scale. Pivot Standalones are surface mounted on ceilings or walls and equipped with flat, conduit feed, or direct mount canopies, which can be round or square.
Pivot Standalones available for:
We are pleased to welcome three new pendants—Forma Caret, Forma Tote, and Forma Cupola—to the Lumenwerx offering. Eye-catching and geometric, they can be used to add a layer of complexity and interest to an interior setting or to simply amp up its cool factor in unexpected ways. Supported by our Unity Pointed (UP) technology, the luminaires deliver lens brightness uniformity across all shapes and sizes within the same lumen output.
Equipped with our High-Efficiency Lambertian Optic (HLO), the Forma trio offers outstanding visual comfort, excellent light source obscuration values, and an impressive 0.1 inch of shielding.
For spaces requiring a soft ambient glow, the Tote 12″ and Tote 24″ offer an uplight/indirect component.
Unity Pointed (UP) technology allows for luminaires of different shapes and sizes within the same lumen output to emit identical luminous intensity values precisely measurable down to the square inch.
Precision acoustic technology
EchoCore™ is our innovative proprietary acoustic technology that empowers luminaires to absorb significantly more sound than traditional felt-fitted acoustic fixtures are capable of absorbing.
Acoustic fixtures equipped with EchoCore™—Audia, Pop, and Aera—maintain exceptional performance and are available with standard, premium, and custom options as well as a wide variety of features from which to choose.
Form follows function
Our patent-pending EchoCore™ technology applies the science of Helmholtz resonance principles to the practice of acoustic lighting, taking the form of a die-cut aluminum lattice and multiple layers of a fibrous, sound-absorbing core material.
When sound waves meet lighting fixtures equipped with the technology, they pass through its aluminum lattice and then are trapped by its core, resulting in the reduction of echo and reverberation.
EchoCore™-enabled luminaires are 30% more effective than traditional felt-fitted acoustic fixtures are at reducing sound.
Our Audia, Pop, and Aera EchoCore™ acoustic luminaires not only address the problem of excess noise, but they also open up the possibilities to design and define any interior space requiring superior acoustic control.
With five lattice patterns (round, square, linear, cubic, and scalloped), and numerous finish and color options, the Audia, Pop, and Aera EchoCore™fixtures exemplify how a new technology can be the impetus to propel the imagination in all kinds of exciting creative directions.

ChromaWerx Sola is single-channel control that dims output while warming the color temperature in a pre-determined relationship. A simple digital or analog control sends a common signal to dual output digital drivers, which are programmed to adjust a specially populated LED array to emulate the effect of dimming a filament source. Dimming range is programmable but the default option runs from 3500K at 100% of full power to 2200K at 5% of full power. CRI is maintained above 80 throughout the dimming range.
ChromaWerx Duo is two-channel control. It uses analog or digital protocols for synchronous control of both warm and cool LED arrays, enabling the user to set color temperature and light output. Commonly called “tunable white”, ChromaWerx two-channel control provides the range of warm (2700K) to cool (6500K) color that can be useful for helping to entrain circadian rhythms, stimulate alertness for improved educational and work productivity, and compensate for jet lag, among other applications. The ChromaWerx drivers are programmed to limit maximum light output and power usage across all color temperatures. CRI is maintained above 80.
