WHAT IS STENCILFLEX™?
A framework for limitless lighting design
Based on the Stencil® form factor, StencilFlex is a simple, cost-effective pendant delivery system for the layers of light – and sound attenuation – you want, where you want them. StencilFlex incorporates all the benefits of F.L.E.X Technology™, including cost-effective line-voltage lighting solutions at scale and trouble-free energy code compliance.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
A framework you build on
The beauty of StencilFlex™ is in its design simplicity and freedom. Building-block design enables a true building-scale solution, as it allows several professionals to work on the project concurrently. And, unlike with low‑voltage lighting, F.L.E.X™ lighting systems are very energy‑efficient regardless of the layout, with low lighting power densities that ensure compliance with local energy codes based on ASHRAE/IESNA standards.

INNOVATIVE GRID STRUCTURE
Creating neighborhoods of light
The StencilFlex™ design process begins with the framework, a cost-effective line‑voltage structure featuring patent‑pending IMW™ (Integral Modular Wiring) technology. Frameworks are built using prewired segment extrusions and Hubs (shown below) to create different linear grids and repeatable patterns. Depending on lighting requirements and design intent, a StencilFlex layout can include several frameworks, each one a neighborhood light, or it can form a single, large-scale framework with multiple neighborhoods of light.
- Cables and wire-in terminals for inserts are already built into segments.
- Wiring is standard 277 V with standard 4” j-box at each power drop.
- Power/control cabling is concealed in suspension stems.
- Integrated emergency lighting capability, unlike for low-voltage systems.
Where there is no need for lighting, blank inserts in the StencilFlex™ framework add a sophisticated, minimalist touch to the overall design.

In its most basic form, StencilFlex™ lets you control lighting using a prewired framework with pre zoned inserts. StencilFlex is also compatible with all circuit-based wireless control systems. With a 0-10V wired system, lighting control is circuit-based. So you can control groupings of light in a specific area. Direct and Indirect Nomadic™ inserts are on different circuits.

SoftZone provides unparalleled design flexibility for integrating acoustics in your StencilFlex layout. With SoftZone, you can create neighborhoods of intimacy where needed. SoftZone horizontal panels improve acoustics by trapping sound. The more sound absorption you need, the more SoftZone panels you use in the space. Features include a modular approach to meet evolving needs and 40 colors to choose from.

- For stain removal, use a small amount of soap or detergent on a wet cloth.

Turn on the sky
Thanks to exclusive technology from Italy, CoeLux reproduces the sun’s movement, the sky’s infinite depth and the associated beneficial effects of natural light like no other product in the world. You feel the physical effects of daylight because the experience is so real. The CoeLux system tricks the mind by reproducing the Rayleigh scattering effect, using LEDs to create the full spectrum of sunlight and mimicking the distance between sun and sky.
The Long Sky (LS) systems come in three versions with skylight openings that measure approximately 4’ x 1’. They can be used individually or aligned in runs to form a hallway of light delivering more depth perception.
A 45-degree beam and sliver of light transforms your experience of indoor illumination by precisely creating the look and feel of blue skies on a sunny day. When standing in the light beam, you can see the sun “follow” you as you walk along the length of the skylight – just like you do in real life.
The new HT 25 system is the first of a family of low-profile luminaires by CoeLux®. Its distinctive 9.8” (25 cm) depth is ideal for shallow plenums. The HT 25 features a zenithal sun peaking through a slightly frosted sky. The infinite sun overhead allows for a seamless array of fixtures, as the sun appears to emanate from the same source no matter the angle of the viewer. This immerses the user in the full experience and reinforces the illusion of looking at the real sky. The 2’ x 4’ luminaire is suitable for recessed installation in modular and drop ceilings.
Graze Perfekt™
Innovative optics for high-appeal grazing
Graze Perfekt combines high-performance wall grazing optics and the 1.5″-wide aperture of the Sculpt housing. The luminaire is designed to do more than highlight wall textures and enhance the space with dramatic wall grazing effects. Its innovative and compact linear silicone TIR (total internal reflection) optic delivers a precise, consistent, wide-beam angle (10º x 100º) without color-over-angle artifacts. To facilitate and accelerate installation, Graze Perfekt features field-cuttable modules for a precise finish. With its wide spread of light, the silicone TIR optic ensures consistent graze effect between modules.

SoftZone provides unparalleled design flexibility for creating architectural pendant lighting with effective sound attenuation properties (per-unit Noise Reduction Coefficient (NRC) of up to 1.05). It features a modular approach that lets you vary the quantity of panels required to achieve the desired level of sound absorption. Available in over 15 colors, SoftZone panels are made of Class A fire rated and moisture resistant polyester containing recycled PET plastic that is easy to clean and maintain.

Stencil SoftZone provides superior cost-effectiveness. The same amount of SoftZone material in horizontal panels provides almost twice the sound absorption of vertical panels. Horizontal SoftZone panels also capitalize on the exceptional design freedom of Stencil Pendant. Together, they provide an effective, one-of-a-kind design tool for creating a wide variety of forms and patterns.
MikroLite™ 1.5
Visually discreet, yet very powerful
Recognized by the 2018 IES Progress Report, MikroLite 1.5 downlights feature a 1.5” square-in-square optical system that delivers superior visual comfort and flawless color mixing. Its tunable precision optics produce streak-free vertical surfaces. It is the first high-performance (up to 111 lm/W), high-CRI (90+), glare-free, color tunable linear micro downlight that is so powerful (up to 1100 lm/ft), it can be used for both general lighting and high-ceiling applications.
MikroLite 1.5 optics can be integrated into Sculpt, Beam 2 and Beam 4 luminaires. Also available as elegant small-scale Pixel downlights.
Zen Square
SLEEK LUMINAIRE DESIGN
Superior lighting power and visual comfort
Zen Square’s patented inverted “U” form provides soft, comfortable LED lighting. It emits more downward luminance from the top than from the sides. The pendant version uses SurroundLite optics to open up the space by delivering ample, glare-free downlighting and reflected light throughout. Luminaire also available in a Zen version.
