Ian began his career in architectural lighting after moving from his native Scotland in the 1990s. Following 20+ years working in local, regional, and international sales roles, in 2021 he took a break from the industry to work as a Special Ed teacher in the NYC DoE and to become a foster parent, before joining International Lights in 2023 as the newest member of the sales team. Outside of work, Ian enjoys spending time with his son and their loyal pup “Finn”. At work, he loves to help clients solve all manner of lighting challenges big and small, and treating his colleagues to his latest baking project. He holds an MBA from Northeastern University.
