Dean is a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology where he earned a degree in mechanical engineering. He started in the industrial side of lightingat Holophane and soon became an HID specialist. He moved into sales in all factions of lighting with Genlyte, Lightolier, and Acuity Brands Lighting. Prior to joining IL, Dean was managing inside sales and overseeing quotes at Empire Lighting. His diverse and technical background along with being a good listener allows him to understand the big picture and reach the best solution for everyone. At first you might not get his dry sense of humor, we didn’t. But in time, we are sure you will appreciate it. When he is not quoting and closing jobs, he enjoys coaching basketball for his children, hiking with his wife and lacrosse.
